Product Overview
This plug uses a straight (non-tapered) thread with an O-ring groove, sealing by compressing the O-ring against a boss port face rather than relying on thread engagement and sealant the way a tapered NPT plug does. That gives a more consistent, leak-free seal in hydraulic manifolds and cylinder ports, and avoids the variability of hand-applied thread tape or sealant.
