Heavy Duty Key-Locking Insert
-- Steady & Reliable Manufacturer --
Product Overview
This is the reinforced version of our key-locking insert, made with a thicker bushing wall and larger locking keys to handle higher torque and tensile loads than the standard key-locking design. It targets structural joints and high-torque fastener locations where even a standard key-locking insert would be under-rated.
We produce this size and strength range for heavy equipment, off-highway and structural steel fabrication buyers who need a threaded connection point in a soft or thin base material that still has to carry near-parent-bolt torque and tensile values.

Application Fields
- ✓Heavy construction and mining equipment
- ✓Off-highway vehicle chassis and structural mounts
- ✓Structural steel fabrication and heavy machinery frames
- ✓Wind turbine tower and nacelle structural joints
- ✓Marine and offshore structural fittings
- ✓Press and stamping die structural inserts
Key Advantages
- Thicker bushing wall and larger keys carry substantially higher torque and tensile load than a standard key-locking insert of the same nominal size.
- Suited to structural joints where fastener failure would be a safety concern, not just a maintenance inconvenience.
- Zinc-nickel plating option extends corrosion life in outdoor and marine structural applications.
- Same basic installation sequence as the standard key-locking insert, so crews do not need a separate training path.
- Reduces the need to oversize the base material or weld in a separate steel boss for a high-torque connection point.
